Daryl "Bubba"
Gene Bealhen Iii
Sep 25, 2018 — Mar 24, 2025
Daryl (Bubba) Gene Bealhen III, age 6 years young, found peace… over the rainbow….. early Monday, March 24, 2025 surrounded by his loving family after a valiant struggle with DIPG – diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma, an aggressive and incurable brain tumor, since February 2024.
A proud twin, Bubba along with his sister, Therese "Tess" were born on September 25, 2018 to Daryl "D.J." Gene Bealhen, Jr. and Crystal Lee (nee: Gliszinski). A true soldier in his fight with cancer, He had a never ending smile that brightened everyone's day. Bubba was currently in kindergarten at Gifford Elementary School.
Some of Bubba's favorite things were animals of all kinds especially, giraffes, elephants, chickens and his bearded dragon, "Rex", drawing & coloring, rainbows (which was his favorite color), swimming, music, dancing, everything outside, and dreamed of being a firefighter when he grew up. Bubba chose a trip to Disney World for his "Make-A-Wish" where his family stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge with a balcony that overlooked the safari. Watching the animals gave Bubba great peace.
Surviving are his mom and dad, Crystal and Daryl "D.J." Bealhen, Jr.; adored twin sister, Therese "Tess" Bealhen; grandparents, Terri Bealhen and Barbara & Larry Gliszinski; great-grandmother, Anita Oakes; honorary grandparents, Bob & Connie Bucholz; aunts, Amie (Chad) Helding and Liane Yockey; cousins, Abigail Helding, Michael Helding, Sera Yockey, Emily (Daniel) Muniz, Isaiah Yockey, Julie (Anthony) Simonelli, Nathaniel Yockey and Isabella Yockey; 2 nd cousins, Daniel & Adeline Muniz and Vinny & Veronica "Ronnie" Simonelli; many doting honorary aunts, uncles, great-aunts & uncles, other cousins, relatives, classmates and family friends – too numerous to mention all by name. Bubba was preceded in death by his grandpa, Daryl Gene Bealhen, Sr., and Great Grandpa Allan W. Oakes.
Services celebrating Bubba's life will be held in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place next to his grandpa at West Lawn Memorial Park.
