Racine – David C. Andersen, 76, passed away at his residence on November 15, 2014, surrounded by the love of his family.  He was born in Racine on November 22, 1937, son of the late Leroy and Anita (nee: Walters) Andersen.

David was married to the love of his life, Althea "Teddy" Koegel, on April 11, 1964, in Mukwonago, WI. David was a lifelong resident of Racine.  He proudly and faithfully served his country in the United States Navy from 1955-1957 and in the Naval Reserves until 1963.

David leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Althea "Teddy" Andersen; daughter, Annette (Michael) McGregor; brothers, Ronald Andersen, Lyle Andersen; sisters, Cheryl Dexter, Janice Hanssen; other relatives and dear friends too numerous to mention.

The family will hold private services.  In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorials to The Health Care Network, Inc. or to the Battle Buddy Foundation.
