David Gerard Poikonen, 55, passed away at Ridgewood Care Center on Tuesday, March 9, 2021.  He was born in Racine on October 8, 1965, son of the late Samuel and Bonnie (Née: Hoffman) Poikonen.

David enjoyed cooking and worked for several restaurants in the area.  He loved spending time with his dog, Joe.  Above all, Joe treasured the time he was able to spend with his family and friends.  He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.

Per David's wishes, private services will be held for the family.
