Parkersburg, WV – DeAnthony L’Minggio, 30, passed away unexpectedly while at work on Monday, October 9 2017. He was born in Kenosha on December 29,1986, but spent much of his early life in Racine where he attended Horlick High School. He recently had moved to West Virginia where he began working at REM Community Options. He had recently received a promotion to program coordinator and was also attending college in West Virginia.
DeAnthony was a family man in the truest sense of the word and his children meant the world to him. He enjoyed cooking, and watching the Chicago Bears. DeAnthony loved all kinds of music, from rap to gospel, and enjoyed singing and playing the drums at church. His kind and compassionate nature led him to a career in Mental Health Services which he enjoyed very much.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Aniyah, DeAnthony Jr., Audrianna, and Deron L’Minggio all in Parkersburg; his mother Marcella Pearson in Louisiana; and father Jason Williams in Georgia; His sisters Alyssa L’Minggio and Jazlin Rodriguez; paternal grandparents Pinell (Cloretha) Williams and Edna Mae Collins; as well as many other relatives and friends, including the mothers of his children, Ruth Blodgett and Jennifer L’Minggio. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Birdie Gonzalez and Benjamin Smith.
Homegoing services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday October 21, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Roger Carson officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. All are invited to visit with the family on Saturday morning in the funeral home beginning at 9:30 a.m.
