Racine – Demencio "John" DeLeon, Jr. passed away on Friday, Aufust 11, 2006 at St. Luke's Memorial Hospital in Miwaukee. He is survived the mother of his children, Michelle Irish; his daughters Shawna and Michelle DeLeon; brothers and sisters Raul DeLeon, Mary Gutierrez, Ernestine DeLeon, Herlinda Gomez, Esperanza DeLeon, Erminia Aguirre, Oscar DeLeon, and Theresa Sanchez; many nieces, nephews and other friends and relatives, including members of Michelle's family. The funeral mass for John will be held at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 3126 95th street, Sturtevant, on Thursday, August 24, 2006 at 1 p.m. Internment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery on HWY 32. Visitaion will be in the church on Wednesday beginning at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, memorials to his daughters are encouraged.
