Service Details

Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory on Monday, October 11, 2021, for the celebration of Denise’s life and Homegoing. 

 

There will be a visitation from 10-11 a.m. 

 

Per Denise’s wishes, her cremation will follow, and her ashes will be scattered in a designated place.

Denise T. Robinson, 59, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, October 1, 2021.

She was born Chicago, Il on March 13, 1962, the daughter of the late A.C. Gibson and Mildred Love.

Denise worked as a CNA for various nursing homes over the years.  She was recently employed by Sheridan Medical Complex in Kenosha.

She had a strong faith and enjoyed attending Grace Church.   Denise also loved Bingo, playing football pools at Final Inning in Kenosha, cooking, and being in the company of her family, especially her grandchildren.

Denise is survived by her loving husband, Jesse Robinson, Sr.; her daughter, Jackie Robinson; her son, Jesse (Ashley) Robinson, Jr.; her grandchildren, Jelia and Lestiona Robinson, Jackia and Jessiya Booker; her sisters, Carlon Martin and Ora Love; as well as many dear nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  In addition to her parents, Denise was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Deniseshana Robinson; her brother, Sammie Sanders; and her sisters, Elizabeth Love-Jones and Patricia Burkman.
