Dolores Beyer

Dec 7, 1925 – Apr 3, 2007

Dolly Beyer, 81, unexpectedly passed away in her home on Tuesday, April 3, 2007. She was born in Racine on December 7, 1925, daughter of the late Walter and Ida (nee: Blood) King.

Dolly was an active and faithful member of Peace Lutheran church. She was very happy when with her church family, and loved visiting with them during coffee hours. She also enjoyed playing schafkopf with her friends, and working with ceramics. After 25 years, Dolly retired from Acme Die Casting in 1987.

She is survived by her children, Lynn Laurent of Kenosha, Jim (Betty) Beyer of Racine, Brian Beyer of Colorado, and Sue Geise; her sister, Wini (Eugene) Anderson of Racine; 13 grandchildren; many great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded by her son, Terry Beyer; 1 brother, and 2 sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2007 at Peace Lutheran Church (1619 N. Newman Rd.) with Rev. Ferd O. Bahr officiating. Internment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. All are invited to visit in the church on Saturday from 9:30a.m. until the start of the service. Memorials to Peace Lutheran, the Heart Fund, or the Arthritis Foundation have been suggested.

To the family of Dolly Beyer,

I am so sorry to hear of Dolly’s passing. I was one of the gals that enjoyed her Ceramics class when she lived on 21st Street.

I would see her a lot over at the Blue Dianmond and that was the last time I gave her a hug.

She enjoyed life, and was always ready to joke around.

My thought and Prayers are with you. God has a good lady joining his family in Heaven.
    Sincerely,
    Mert Fleury

Testimonials

October 22, 2015

Mike and the staff went above and beyond during our very difficult time with passing of our Opa. Mike helped relieve the immense stress by being extremely professional, paying attention to the smallest details and the overall kindness and compassion in caring for our family at our time of need. We do not believe that a thank you truly covers our deep gratitude towards you. Thank you for everything you have done for us.
