Obituary

Donna Mae Neal, 71, was called Home by her Loving Savior, on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 with her family by her side. She was born in Racine, Wisconsin on May 29, 1947, the daughter of the late Donzell and Mary (nee: Odom) Holt Sr.

Donna was united in marriage to the late Connie Lee Neal on August 31, 2002 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Racine.               After graduating from Washington Park High School, she furthered her education and became a dialysis tech, working at Froedtert Hospital and later Midwest Dialysis from where she retired. Donna Mae attended New Brighter Day Missionary Baptist Church. In her earlier years, she enjoyed playing softball, bowling and playing darts.

She leaves to cherish her memory, four children, Kimberly R. Love, Stacy M. Love, both of Racine, Johnny A. Love, of Long Beach, CA, and Kelly J. (Alfy) McGee, of Racine; three step-children, Stacie Neal, Sha-rie (Karee) Allen, both of Kansas City, KS, Joseph Braggs, of Kenosha, 21 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, including a special grandson, Michael (Rebecca) Love, whom she helped raise.

Donna Mae is also survived by two sisters, Davetta (James) McBride of Casa Grande, AZ, Grace Witherspoon, of Racine; and brother, Donzell Holt Jr, of Racine; 4 sister-in-laws and 1 brother-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends too numerous to mention by name. In addition to her parents, Donna Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Connie Neal, and sister, Iris Johnson.

Service Details

Her Memorial Home Going Service will be held at the New Brighter Day Church, 1225-24 th Ave., Kenosha, on Saturday, March 2 nd , at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Joseph Thomas, officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In keeping with her wish, cremation has taken place.

The family would like to say "Thank You" to Dr. Michael Mullane and his caring staff at Aurora Oncology Center.
