Racine – Donta Devon Cook, age 49, passed away in Racine, WI on Friday, January 15th, 2021. Donta was born in Racine on April 18th, 1971 to Carolyn (nee: Cook) Farr and Hugh "Dunkin" Blake. He was the happiest spending time with family and friends. Donta enjoyed using his charm to brighten the lives of those around him.

Surviving are his four adored sons: Devin (Nissa) Cook, Dariess Goss, Daniel Cook-Leflore, and Donovan Cook; father: Hugh Blake; sisters: Felicia Cook, Sabrina Farr, Twanda Spears, Pareatha Blake, & Krystal Bailey; brother: Christopher Blake; sister-in-law: Kristin Cook; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins & friends – too numerous to mention all by name. Donta was preceded in death by his mother: Carolyn (nee: Cook) Farr; brother: Anthony Cook; grandparents: George Cook & Bertha Cook; uncles: Ozell Cook & Robert Lee Cook; aunts: Opelene Cook, Roberta Moore & Fannie Mae; and nephew: Tazari Woods.

Services celebrating Donta's life will be held in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Monday, January 25, 2021 at 6:00 pm with Rev. Steve Saidon officiating. Viewing will be in the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 – 6:00 pm. In memory of Donta, offer a kind deed by reaching out to someone in need.
