Doris Nell
Muedini
Jun 21, 1944 — Nov 29, 2025
Doris Nell Muedini, age 81, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, November 29, 2025.
The eldest of nine children, Doris was born in Amory, Mississippi, on June 21, 1944, to the late Albert and Cordie (née Lindsey) Allred. After moving from Mississippi in her late teens, Doris began her life as a wife and mother in Antioch Illinois. She moved to Wisconsin several years later where she ultimately made her home.
An exceptionally talented beautician, Doris served the community doing hair for 40+ years. She spent several of those years at JCPenney hair salon until it closed. She continued her passion at Images salon with many of her same colleagues and friends before finally retiring. With a deep love for her vocation and a generous heart, she continued doing hair for those who had difficulty leaving their homes, ensuring they continued to feel cared for and valued.
Doris lived and breathed her faith. A devoted member of Racine Bible Church, she dedicated her life to God and demonstrated her faith daily through unwavering kindness, generosity, and a gentle spirit toward everyone she met. She was also a phenomenal cook who found great joy in hosting gatherings and bringing meals to anyone needing encouragement. Whether she was running errands, helping with laundry, or offering a quiet helping hand, Doris's acts of service touched countless lives. She truly was a saint.
Doris is survived by her children, Richard "Lance" (Meg) Christenson, Brent (Stephanie) Christenson, Suzanne Muedini, Heather (Tim) Heling, and Heidi (Jason) Mayer; former husband, Bill Muedini; grandchildren, Chris Siewak, Ryan Siewak, Jared (Jenifer) Christensen, Brandon (Meggan) Christenson, Marie Christenson, and Emma Heling; Sonny, Violet, and Otto Mayer; great-grandchildren, Maxx and Adison Christenson; sisters, Beverly Ficca and Sharon Allred; brothers, Jimmy (Peggy) Allred and Lamar Allred; brother-in-law, Doug Sity; as well as many other family members, clients, church family, and dear friends—too numerous to list but each cherished by Doris.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Eric Siewak; sisters, Carolyn (James) Strawbridge and Annette Sity; brother, Doug Allred; brother-in-law, John Rowe; and sister-in-law, Mary Ann Allred.
Services celebrating Doris's life will be held at Racine Bible Church (12505 Spring Street) on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., with John Anderson officiating. Visitation will take place at the church on Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Private interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials to "Racine Bible Church" have been suggested.
