Pleasant Prairie – Dorothy Marie May, 84, passed away at Grand Prairie Health and Rehabilitation on Monday, July 20, 2015. She was born in Racine on October 29, 1930, daughter of the late Henry and Marie (nee: Frey) May. Dorothy was a 1948 graduate of St. Catherine's High School; and then from Mt. Mary College in 1952 with a BS in Chemistry. She went on to a successful career with the Environmental Protection Agency.

Dorothy is survived by her brother, Charles "Charlie" May of Racine; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Harold, Florian, Clarence, Alfred, Herm and Ken.

A funeral mass for Dorothy will be held in St. Lucy Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2015, Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Caledonia.
