Duane “Stitch” Glen Heath, 42, passed away and went into the Arms of our Lord on September 25, 2014. He was born in Racine on July 27, 1972 to Glen and Marcia Heath. He married his longtime friend, partner, and lover, Laura on June 23, 2013.
Stitch graduated from J.I. Case High School. He was employed for several years at Cree. He was a member of A&D Biker Ministry and was respected by many. He loved spending time with his wife and children riding motorcycles. He was an excellent mechanic and also enjoyed industrial sewing, using that skill to sew many patches on leather for his biker family and friends during his days. In his spare time he liked to draw and go to thrift stores. He loved a good deal.
He is survived by his wife, Laura; his much adored children, Autumn and Ayden; his parents, Glen and Marcia Heath; his sister, Dawn Jackson; and two nephews, Dustin Heath and Dakota Jackson. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Heath, his Grandparents, and Aunts and Uncles. He will be sadly missed by many relatives and so many friends, but mostly his furry kids, Chopper and Gracie.
Relatives and friends may meet with the family in the funeral home on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 3pm – 6pm. His memorial service will begin at 6pm with Pastor Ralph “Doc” Scherer officiating. Memorials to the family have been suggested. Interment will be private.

We put to rest my Nephew yesterday. Such a sad time. I know because I lost my Husband in December. My memories of Duane were good memories. He was so talented. The bathroom at his house was upholstered in leather. True Harley bathroom. His projects were flawless. He made a custom cover for my Husband’s boat that was awesome. So many people complimented on it. He was an awesome artist. Duane had his demons chasing him. He struggled at times but overcame them with his faith in Jesus. But it’s sad that the demons finally overwhelmed him. I’ve had my share of demons and was able to conquer them but I paid a heavy price. His were worse. My only consolation is that he is with Jesus now and those demons cannot bother him anymore. I’m gonna miss you and will think of you often Duane. Go find Rich and you guys can go fishing. R.I.P. Buddy.
