Edward George Jacoby, known to all as "Ed" or "Ringo", 71, received the promise of eternal life on December 29, 2015.  He was born on November 12, 1944, son of George and Ann Jacoby.

Ed was raised on a dairy farm in Marshfield until the age of 14.  The family then moved to Racine where he attended "vocational school".  He was a labor attender for brick layers much of his adult life. He was a very fun loving guy who loved to make people laugh and was well-liked by many people.  Ed will be dearly missed by all that loved him.

Ed is survived by his significant other, Lavone Christiansen; his 93 year old Mother, Ann Jacoby; his siblings, Patrick Jacoby, Carol Armstrong, Ruth Jacoby, Elaine Drier, Linda Milburn; nieces and nephews, Cindy Duran of Porter, TX, Sherry Carrion, Samuel Sanchez, Kevin Milburn, Mike (Liz) Mahnke, Wandy and Ken Gall, all of Racine; many great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces, Paisley Jean Hollow, Taylor Mahnke; one great-great nephew, Grant Mahnke; other relatives and dear friends to numerous to mention.

He was proceeded in death by his father, George Jacoby; niece, Kathy Carrion; and brother-in-law, Robert Drier.

A celebration of Ed's life will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2016, 1:00pm, at Mount Pleasant Lutheran Church, 1700 S. Green Bay Road, with Rev. Krista Zimmerman officiating.
