Racine – Eileen R. (nee: Kleinschmidt) Csepella, 84, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, February 8, 2012.

Eileen was born in Milwaukee on June 29, 1927 to the late Edward and Blanche (nee: Welter) Kleinschmidt. She graduated from Bayview High School in 1945. On September 7, 1946 in Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church – St. Francis, she was united in marriage with the love of her life, John Paul Csepella. They moved to Racine in 1947.

Eileen was an accomplished homemaker who devoted her life to caring for her family, including supporting her beloved husband, John, in his accounting career at Csepella, Klug & Company. With a profound Catholic faith, she was a longtime member, Eucharistic Minister and Catecism teacher at Holy Trinity Catholic Church until the church closed in 1997. Eileen then became a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church, and, most recently, of St. Lucy Catholic Church.

Eileen was an active volunteer with the St. Mary's Medical Center auxiliary and proud member of Racine Country Club. She enjoyed playing cards, including Bridge and especially ShangHi with the girls; bowling; needlework; crocheting; reading; cooking and baking – especially her Hungarian specialties; and travelling – most notably to the Riviera in Las Vegas.

Surviving are her children, John S. (Clara) Csepella, Paula Klema, Sue (Jeffrey) Cooper and Mark (Laurie) Csepella; grandchildren, Brian Csepella, John (Christine) Csepella, Andrew (Ebony) Williams, Leslie (John) Bruno, Paula (Nathan) Czechowicz, Zachary Cooper, Samantha Cooper, Sarah Csepella and Alex Csepella; great-grandchildren, Essence, Ceani and Kareem Williams; Leaf and Forest Bruno; Hayley and Carter Csepella; and Murphy Czechowicz; sister, Audrey Boyle; brother-in-law, Tony Wiltschka; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends too numerous to mention by name.

In addition to her parents, Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, John, on March 18, 2005; sister, Beatrice Wiltschka; and brother-in-law, Louis (Frances) Csepella.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at 11:00 am in St. Lucy Catholic Church, 3101 Drexel Avenue, with Rev. Mark R. Jones and Rev. Sean Granger officiating. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum of Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Monday from 5-8 pm (prayer service at 7:45 pm) and in the church on Tuesday from 10-11 am. In memory of Eileen, memorials to St. Lucy Catholic Church have been suggested.
