Eleanor R. Brook, 88, passed away at St. Mary's Medical Center on Sunday, July 1, 2006. She was born in Burlington on March 2, 1918, daughter of the late Frank and Elsie (nee: Schultz) Arnold. She was a lifetime Racine county resident. Eleanor was married to Howard J. Brook. Eleanor was a successful mom and homemaker who enjoyed cooking, baking, and gardening for her family. She also liked to fish and complete puzzle books. She was a member of St. Sebastian's Church. She is survived by her children, Beverly (Herb) Winch of Pequot Lake, Minnesota, Arthur Brook of Sturtevant, Rosemary Castleberry of Enid, Oklahoma, Raymond Brook, and Jerome Brook both of Sturtevant, and Phillip Brook of Kenosha; 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter; her sisters Arlene and Bernice, as well as many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her husband; daughter Donna Parrish; 3 sisters and 2 brothers. In accordance with her wishes, private services were held on Wednesday, July 5, 2006.
