
Ellie Robsel, 79, passed away at her residence, on Sunday, April 3, 2011, surrounded by her family. She was born in Racine on October 18, 1931 the daughter of the late Theron and Marceille (nee Christensen) Hansche.
Ellie was educated in the schools of Racine. She had been employed as a receptionist by Jacobsen Mfg. for over 16 years. She received her degree as an L.P.N. and was employed by the Taylor Children’s Home. On October 26, 1970 she was united in marriage to Russell W. Bullamore who preceded her in death in 2006. On Dec. 8, 2007, in Atonement Lutheran Church, she was united in marriage to Richard Robsel. Ellie was a longtime and active member of Atonement Lutheran Church. Her greatest enjoyment came from being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving are her loving and devoted husband, Richard; her children, Robbyn Marie (Fred) Shye, of Anderson, CA, Robert W. “Rocky” (Brenda) Bednar, of Kenosha, Bruce W. (Linda) Bullamore, of Richland Center, and Russell C. (Leslie) Bullamore, in Colorado; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Tim (Bonnie) Hansche, of Nashville, TN, Jerry (Connie) Hansche, of Racine. Her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends further survive her. In addition to her parents and Russell, Ellie was preceded in death by her sister, Marie Hillyer.
Her funeral service will be held in Atonement Lutheran Church, 2915 Wright Ave., on Friday, April 8th, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Private burial will take place in Mound Cemetery. The family has suggested memorials to Atonement Lutheran Church.
