Union Grove – Elisabeth Robinson, 69, passed away at All Saints Hospital on October 21, 2015. She was born in Berne, Switzerland on December 28, 1945, daughter of the late Fritz and Martha (nee: Reisen) Schwarz. Liz was married in Berne to Geoffrey Robinson on September 5, 1975. In 1979 they moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, and also lived in Kenosha and Fairfield, Ohio before settling in Union Grove three years ago.

Liz enjoyed a nursing career that spanned 40 years that spanned 40 years and three continents (Europe, Australia, North America). She always sought ways to help others; not only in her work but in the time she spent volunteering as well. She often drove people to their doctor appointments, and assisted at senior centers. She enjoyed sewing and knitting, and would often give away her creations as gifts to others. She was especially fond of her family and loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

Elisabeth is survived by her loving husband, Geoffrey Robinson of Union Grove; their children, Daniel (Sarah) Robinson of Caledonia, and Rebekah (Ian) Klemm of Middleton; grandchildren, Delany, Dane, and Oliver; brothers, Willy (Lillian) Schwarz and Walter (Elisabeth) Schwarz; and sister, Hanny Spycher all in Switzerland. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Fritz (Olga) Schwarz; and sister-in-law Suzie Schwarz.

A memorial service for Liz will be held in the funeral home at 11 o'clock a.m. on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 with Reverend David Sincock officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.
