Erma "Jean" Daniels was called home to her heavenly father on Friday, August 7th, 2026. She was born on April 20, 1950 in Helena, Arkansas to parents, Willie B. Daniel and Nina Mae Daniel. She worked in Chicago as a nurse and eventually settled in Kenosha, WI, where she retired from American Motors. Jean truly lived life to the fullest. She was a passionate woman who loved, just as hard as she fought. She provided many with a place to stay, a warm meal to eat and a prayer when needed. She loved her family fiercely. Her personality, wisdom, and honesty will truly be missed.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother Della Jacobs, father Willie B. Daniel Jr, siblings Arthur Lee Daniel Sr, John Oliver Daniel, Ruthie Lee Daniel-Wallace, Willie Ann Daniel, Willie B Daniel, and Pearlie Mae Daniel. She is survived by her mother, Nina Mae Daniel; her sons Robert Ray and Joseph Daniels; her grandchildren, Nyairy and Jadara Daniels; her siblings Frances Gates, Lillie Mae Daniel, Linda Daniel, Della Daniel, Pulera, David Daniel, James Daniel, Nina Virginia Daniel, Willie Bernard Daniel, Michelle Archer, Steven Daniel & Latrina Daniel; close family Roddee "William" Daniel, Robert Charles Daniel who'd be here if they could; her loved ones down south; an array of nieces & nephews who loved her deeply, and many close friends.

Homegoing services will be celebrated on Friday, August 21, 2026 at 11:00 am in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home with . Interment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Viewing will be in the funeral home on Friday, August 21st, from 10:00 – 11:00 am.
