Esteban "T-bo" Garcia III

Mar 11, 1983 – May 16, 2022

Service Details

His funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday, May 27th at 6:00 p.m. with Pastors Alexie and Audrey Martinez officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home that day from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

Memorial Suggestions

In lieu of flowers, memorials should be directed to either his wife, Lindsay, or mother, Shelly Garcia to care for his loving children.

Esteban Garcia III, most affectionately known as “T-bo”, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 16, 2022, as a result of an ongoing medical condition. He was born in Racine on March 11, 1983, the son of Esteban Jr. and Shelly (nee: Ball) Garcia.

T-bo was a graduate of J.I. Case High School Class of 2001. On July 7, 2012, he was united in marriage to Lindsay Simon whom he loved very much. He was the best ‘big’ little brother to his sister and amazing father to his children. He thrived to also be the best male role model for his dear younger cousin, Luna, as she always had a special place in his heart.  T-bo was extremely close with his mother and father and would do anything for them. He was a talented carpenter working for several contractors in the area and loved his trade. Just like his adored Tia Chena, he was also a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan and never missed a game. T-bo was an old soul who loved music, especially classic rock and enjoyed live bands.  He is also remembered as a loving and caring friend who would be there for anyone when they needed them.

Surviving are his wife, Lindsay; their three children, Esteban IV, Ethan, and Emma; parents, Shelly Garcia and Esteban Garcia Jr.; sister, Natassia (Mark) Matsen; their children, Jonah, Myles and Everly; paternal grandfather, Esteban Garcia Sr.; maternal grandparents, Lucia and Jack Rauen; close cousins, Emerick (Emily) and Erik (Rebekah) Garcia, father and mother-in-law, Nick and Sue Simon; sisters-in-law, Angela Simon and Nicole (Danielle) Sayre; and their children, Tyler, Harley, and Silas. An abundance of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends also survive him. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Ruby Garcia; aunt, Azucena (Tia Chena) Maldonado; and cousin, Celia Font.

We are extremely blessed to know that T-bo is resting in heaven with his loved ones and that we will all be reunited again.

I’ve known Tbo since a little boy. I’ve lived across the street in the last year. He never failed to say hi, brought over food when he cooked out and loved my cooking especially at Christmas time and my tamales. He always said that he remembered my cooking when he hung out with my son Erik. My heart hurts for him and his family and I will always remember the sweet, respectful person he was. As I said to him this last winter when he hugged me. I love you mijo, please take care of yourself. He said to me I’m good Cathy. Don’t worry. Rest in heaven sweet boy. I will always carry you in my heart.

    Lindsay –

You have been a pillar of strength for Tbo and your children over the years. Please know that your love with Tbo is insurmountable and the two of you will always have a piece of one another’s hearts. Anyone that has known you two over the past few years, know the trials and tribulations you endured and you stood by your vows the best you each could until the end. I have no doubt in my mind that Tbo recognizes, remembers, and cherishes the times that you stood by him when things were tough and/or he had few others doing so. We are all sending our love to Tbo, you, and your children during this time.
