Westfield – Esther L. Schultz, formerly of Sturtevant, passed away at home on Saturday, April 11, 2015. She was 82. She was born in South Milwaukee on February 2, 1933, daughter of the late Herman and Lillian (nee: Last) Clasen. Esther was the manager at Sunrise Liquor in South Milwaukee from 1963-79. She then moved to Sturtevant, and was employed at Eckmann Pressed Metals until she retired in 1998.

Esther enjoyed gardening, caring for her yard, and making floral arrangements with the flowers that she grew. On the weekends you could always find her watching NASCAR races on TV cheering for her favorite drivers Dale Ernhardt and Dale Jr.  Most of all though she loved being with her children and their families. Esther was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Racine.

She is survived by her children: Jackie (Jon) Fecteau of Westfield, Michael (Sherry) Witt of South Milwaukee, Cheryl (Scott) Teigland of Racine, and Dawn Leuthe of Springbrook ; grandchildren: Jon (Carrie) Fecteau and Jill Fecteau, Alex Witt, Nathan Witt, Brittney Witt, Steve (Ann) Witt, and Rachael Witt, Scott (Katrina) Teigland and Heather Teigland; great-grandchildren: Ben, Madyson, and Gemma; as well as many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Schultz; her sons, Paul and Gregory Witt; son-in-law, Herb Leuthe; and 7 brothers and sisters.

In keeping with her personal wishes, private services were held in the funeral home, and she now rests in Forest Hill Memorial Park.
