Eugene Carter

Eugene Carter, 76 was called Home by His Lord and Savior, on October 7, 2011. Eugene was born in Myrtle, Mississippi on December 15, 1934, the son of Isaac and Maebell (nee: Talley) Carter Sr. Eugene was united in marriage to LueElla, in 1955, in New Albany, Mississippi.

Eugenewas employed at Silver Steel, J. I. Case and Goodwill Industries. He loved talking mess, fishing, motorcycling, Cadillac Eldorados and drinking brown water.

Left to cherish his memory are his children; Michael Ferrell of Aurora, Illinois, Dennice Curtis of Milwaukee, WI., Debra Carter, Audrey (Yul) Stephens, Sara Carter, Kenneth Carter, Danniele (William) McClain, Felicia (Maurice) Sanders all of Racine;22 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; his mother, Maebell Johnson; his brother Alfred L. “Bubba” Carter; his sisters Lula Grace Little, Ruby (Finner)Hopkins, and Deloise McLemore ; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Eugene was preceded in death by his father, Isaac Carter Sr.; brothers Isaac James Jr., David Carter, William K. “Cool Jack” Carter and his grandson Jameel Flanagan. 

His Homegoing Service will be held at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home, 4600 County Line Road, Hwy KR., on Friday, October 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

 A special thanks to our cousin Cassandra Malone for your love, support and guidance that you’ve shown us throughout our time of need.
