Faye K. Henningfield, 89, passed away at Pleasant Point Senior Living on Thursday, January 1, 2026. She was born in Racine on February 27, 1936, the daughter of the late Ellsworth and Ruth (nee: Haney) Blackburn.

Faye was a graduate of Union Grove High School, Class of '54. Before raising her family, she was employed as a secretary at Johnson Wax and Webster Electric. She also worked at Southern Wisconsin Center as a CNA for over 17 years, retiring in 2006. She was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Jay Bailey, of Racine; son, Bruce Henningfield, of Plymouth, WI; two granddaughters, Christine (Tim) Dickison, of Wadsworth, IL, and Samantha (Ross) Roussel, of Union Grove, and grandson, Jordan (Casey) Bailey, of Kenosha; six great-grandchildren, Logan and Mason Dickison, Aiden and Carson Roussel, and Sunday and Banner Bailey. In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Philbrick, her former husband, Vern Henningfield, and her canine companion, Tedi.

The family wishes to thank the staff and her friends at Pleasant Point Senior Living, Preceptor Home Health Hospice, and Kim Lagrow, N.P., for the loving and compassionate care provided to our mother during her final months.

Service Details

The funeral service for Faye K. Henningfield will be held at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 3126-95th St. Sturtevant, WI, on Friday, January 16th at 11:30 a.m. with Deacon Eloy Contreras officiating. Visitation will be in the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Private burial will take place in St. John the Baptist Cemetery- Paris, WI on Saturday, January 17th.
