On April 11, 1942, she was united in marriage with the love of her life, Alan D. Greeley, who preceded her in death on August 22, 1997. Florence was a proud and faithful member of Racine Baptist Temple where she enjoyed spending time with her church family especially during L.I.F.T. – Ladies Inspirational Fellowship Time. Visitation will be in the church on Wednesday from 9:30-11:00 am. In accordance with Florence's wishes, cremation will follow the service. Entombment will take place in Southern WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Thursday at 11:00 am. A heartfelt note of thanks to Hospice Alliance, especially Cindy and Heidi; grandchildren, Robert Greatsinger; George and Mary Schram; great-granddaughter, Kassie Pirk; and family friend, Maureen Kowalski for the compassionate care that was so warmly extended. Our family especially recognizes Carol Barnett for the constant care and companionship given to her Mother. Your tireless devotion fulfilled Mom's last request – to remain in her own home. God bless you Carol.
