Frank peacefully passed away Wednesday evening, March 13, 2024 with his wife Siony and eldest son, Jacob, by his side. Frank had endured 3 weeks of aggressive treatments, in an attempt to mitigate a myriad of health issues, before the family decision was made to place him into hospice care. Frank made it abundantly clear that the diminished capacities that resulted from his health issues and the prognosis of long-term care were unacceptable to him.

Frank was preceded in death by his first wife Paula Mae Johnson (Collura)(2016), his parents Mark Lawrence Johnson (2003) & Dorothy Jean Johnson(Bailey)( 2019)as well as his youngest brother John Michael Johnson whom died tragically in (1982). Frank is survived by his wife Siony Johnson (Kim), two sons Jacob John Michael Johnson/ Caitlyn White of Milwaukee and Mark Lawrence Johnson II/ Miriam Abigail Johnson (Hansen) of Racine as well as his two grandsons, Archibald Maes Auri Johnson and Lawrence Paul Joseph Johnson (Jacob and Mark respectively), his brother Mark/Jill Johnson/Nelson, & his sister Margaret/Rich Hackner). Frank also has a granddaughter due to be born on April 29 ^th to son Mark/Miriam.

Frank abhorred abuse of power and was a champion for the working man. His professional life was dedicated to standing up for workers right as he represented UAW Local 438 for many years as their Chairman. Upon retiring from his union leadership role, and from the Delphi corporation as a whole, he worked for the AFL-CIO Workforce Development Center where he helped individuals receive grants and government monies to better themselves and provide skilled trades training. Upon retirement, Frank enjoyed nothing more than operating his lumber mill and helping his sons with a wide array of woodworking projects. Frank took great pride in all of his endeavors but none more than his lake property in Crystal Falls, Michigan that he and his father built. Nothing made him happier than adding to and maintaining his lake property with his sons or simply enjoying a cold beer listening to the Brewers while he watched his sons fish or saw wood or whatever the days may have entailed. In accordance with his wishes, Frank will be cremated and his remains will be interned and later spread at his favorite place.  Frank will be greatly missed and his accomplishments will be forever appreciated by all those he impacted.

In accordance with his wishes, Frank was cremated and his remains will be interned and later spread at his favorite place.
