MOUNT PLEASANT – Mr. Frank C. Knotek, 94, died at AccentCare Hospice in Oak Creek on Thursday, October 27, 2022.

He was born in Racine on January 6, 1928, the son of the late Cyrill and Josephine (nee Mostek) Knotek.  Frank served his country with the US Air Force from 1948-50 where he participated in the Berlin Airlift.  Many called it the greatest humanitarian effort of it's time.

On June 6, 1953, he married Audrey Joan Kobal.   She preceded him in death on August 2, 2019.

Frank retired from Eaton Dynamatic where he worked as a Production Planner for 33 years.  He was baptized as a Jehovah's Witness at the age of 76.  He was a member of the Meadowbrook Congregation in Racine, Wisconsin.  Frank loved to spend his free time working in his yard.  He especially enjoyed creating a garden in the back yard for his son Neil to grow his own tomatoes and peppers.

He is survived by his sons, Paul (Mary) Knotek of Mount Pleasant, Stephan (Sheryl) Knotek, Sr., of St. Paul, MN and Neil Scott Knotek of Mount Pleasant; his grandchildren, Hannah (Jose), Jacob, Brooke (Tucker) and Stephan, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Mason, Logan, and Simon; his brother and sister, Charlie and Rose Knotek, his brother-in-law, Robert (Evelyn) Kobal of Caledonia; as well as many nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents and wife, Frank was preceded in death by his dear son, David Knotek, who passed away in a car accident in 1976.
