Frank L. Martin, 71, was called Home by his loving Savior, on Thursday, November 28, 2018. He was born in Taylor, Mississippi on June 20, 1947, the son of the late Kermit and Mae Etta (nee: Fondren) Martin.
Frank received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age, and was baptized at North Hope Baptist Church, in Taylor. He was employed by the J.I. Case Co. for over 20 years. He was a member of the Case 20 Year Club and a retiree of the U.A.W. Local # 180. Frank loved to fish, work in his vegetable garden, and spending time with family and friends. He was a hardworking, giving man who enjoyed making people laugh.
Surviving are his children, Tony Miller and his wife Jessica Goodwin Miller, of Racine Dorlissa Jones, of Waukegan; 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brother and sisters, Zannie Martin, Bernice (David) Wilson, Earlie M. Briscoe, and Earlene Egerson, all of Racine. His nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends, also survive him. In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his brothers Charles M. Martin, and Arnold "Mickey" Martin, sisters, Q.V. Tyson, and Lillie Mae Luster, brother-in-law, Wesley Egerson and Collier Tyson; and sisters-in-law, Betty Jean Martin, Julie Ann Martin, and Mary Ann Martin (nee: Buckley) .
The family will gather at the Golden Corral Restaurant, 6208-75 th St, Kenosha, following the service, everyone is invited to join them, you will be able to purchase food there.
His Homegoing Service will be held in St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 1123 Center St., on Saturday, December 8 th , at 11:OO a.m. with Rev. L.L. Kirby II officiating. Visitation will be in the church on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Private burial will take place in Graceland Cemetery.
