Racine – Gail A. Kaske, 72, passed away at home on Friday, April 11, 2014. She was born in Milwaukee on December 2, 1941 the daughter of the late Frederick and Evelyn (Seidl) Hiller. On October 19, 1963 she was married in Milwaukee's St. Monica's Catholic Church to Donald L. Kaske. He preceded her in death on May 29, 2010.
Mrs. Kaske was proud of her work at All Saints where she was a labor and delivery nurse in the St. Luke's Health Pavilion. She enjoyed golfing with Don; bowling with her friends; and loved animals. She'll be remembered by her family as an amazing mother and grandmother who participated in every part of their lives. She was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church for many years.
Gail is survived by her children: Kelly Brockmeyer of Milwaukee, Kristi (Brian) Sullivan of Racine, and Kent (Desiree) Kaske of Woodbury, Minnesota; grandchildren: Baylee, Payton, and Brianna Sullivan, and Emma and Kate Kaske; brothers: Gary (Char) Hiller of Slinger, and Glenn (Cindy) Hiller of Grafton; and sister-in-law: Audrey Kaske of Racine. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends can meet in St. Rita's Catholic Church (4339 Douglas Avenue) for visitation on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, from 10:30 a.m. -11:30 a.m., with her funeral mass to follow at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Kevin C. Mullins, O.S.A. officiating. Memorials to Racine County Humane Society, or St. Rita's Catholic Church have been suggested.
