Gary L. "Hoser" DeGarmo

Oct 3, 1952 – Apr 25, 2026

Service Details

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, just as Gary would have wanted.

Gary Lynn DeGarmo, age 73, passed away at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center, Milwaukee on Saturday, April 25, 2026.

Gary was born to Kenneth and Margaret (nee: Gaffney) DeGarmo on October 3, 1952. He graduated from Washington Park High School in 1971. Gary was employed by Twin Disc, Inc. for over 35 years. Among his interests, Gary was an avid bowler; was an extreme fan of baseball; loved watching Ice Road Truckers and Dog, the Bounty Hunter. Hoser loved “games of chance” with Pull Tabs at the top of the list.

Surviving are his daughter, Lynn DeGarmo; special niece, Tracy Hintz; other relatives and friends that treated Gary like family too numerous to mention. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Margaret; son, Robert DeGarmo; and grandson, Marquee “MJ” Haynes, Jr.

Thank you to the staff of the CVICU for the care and compassion they showed my buddy – Tracy Hintz
