Racine– George J. Dietz, Jr., 62, passed away at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee on Sunday, April 1, 2012.

George was born in Milwaukee on June 7, 1949 to the late George J. and Evelyn (nee: Schmidt) Dietz, Sr.  By trade, he was an extremely talented automobile mechanic.

When he wasn't working, George enjoyed watching old-time television, especially "I Love Lucy" and "MASH".

Surviving are his sisters, Sharon Garcia, Donna (Don) Kelley, Kathleen Dietz and Rose (Jose) Burgos; brother, Glenn Dietz; extended family of whom George lived with for the past 17 years, John and Char Vieth, along with their children, Donavan, Justin, Nathan and Anthony. In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his brother, William Dietz.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 5:00 pm. A reception will follow.  Visitation will begin at 3:00 pm.
