George Allen Hettrick, age 76, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, June 5 ^th , 2026. George was born in Wabasha, Minnesota, on September 21 ^st , 1949, to the late Howard C. and Evelyn A. (nee: Urness) Hettrick.

George was a High School Graduate of J.I Case High School 1969, after he would jump right into the working life. He took pride in his careers: Harris Metals 70s to early 80s; cross-country semi-truck driving 1983 to 1985; and his most passionate, developed and personally owned 'George's' Quality Mudjacking' 1985 to 2019. He enjoyed taking his Harley or collector car(s) out to complete his estimates and stopping at an ice cream shop on the way home. George and his late brother, John, would work through the spring, summer and fall seasons, just the two of them. They would complete residential and commercial projects. Once the season was done, they would both head up to Nelson, WI for hunting and fishing. George had three children, (Daughter) Carlee Hettrick, (Daughter) Tiffany Rose Arrollado, (Son) Dillon Hettrick. He loved them all, ensuring they knew it, he would teach them the quality of life through their years: To love each other, "you need to be there for one another", to build trust and never lie, "because in the end the truth always comes out", to be a Jack of all Trades (and more than likely a master of none), how to build a garden of fruits and veggies, showing them what fresh food really is, and lastly how to rebuild things that are broken and take pride in what you do throughout life.

He would bring his kids to the Racine County Fair every year in their younger years. George spoiled them with rides/games, face painting/tattoos, food/ice cream. They attended the various country music concerts the Fair(s) would host. He would take them to many car shows over the years, teaching them what real muscle cars are. He owned a handful, a couple worth mentioning: a 68' Chevy Impala, and his favorite, 67' Chevrolet Chevelle SS. George also would teach them how to maintain the farm and mow the grass. He enjoyed hunting in the bluffs, and fishing on the Mississippi River. On Sundays, George would listen to FM 106.1, playing classic country music until noon and to end the set, Roy Rogers and Dale Evan "Happy Trails" would come on.

Surviving are his sister, Judy (Charlie) Schumacher; children, Carlee Hettrick, Tiffany (Shane) Arrollado, Dillon (Alex) Hettrick; grandchildren, Willow, Mason, Elias, Weslie, Lilly, and Parker; nieces and nephews, Katy (Fred) Mentell, Amanda (Jeremy) Akins, Maggie (Gary) Trenda and Ryan (Mary) Schumacher; and many grand-nieces & nephews and other family members & friends.

Service Details

A Celebration of George's Life will be held on Friday, July 24 ^th , 2026, at 3:00pm at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home. In memory of George, the family welcomes anyone visiting to drive their collector vehicles.
