George W. Rockette, 57, passed away unexpectedly in the WFH-All Saints Emergency Room on Tuesday, March 17, 2015. He was born in Water Valley, MS on June 5, 1957, the son of the late Sylvester Brown Sr. and Dorothy Louise Rockette. George had been employed by Thermal Transfer Products for over 25 years, retiring in 2001 due to health problems. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and cooking for his family and friends. George was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. Surviving are his soul mate for the past 27 years, Sandra Kraft; his son, Daniel (Tiffany) Nelson, of Racine; 3 grandchildren, Casandra, Amberlynn, and Diego; brothers and sisters, Kenny (LaChere Wilson-Price) Price, Bridget Price, Cassandra Jones, Roderick Brown, Maurice Brown, and Sylvester Brown Jr. His nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive him. His Homegoing service will be held in the funeral home on Friday, MARCH 27th, at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Howard Puryear officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on MARCH 27th, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery.
