Racine – With his family by his side, Gerald "Jerry" Ingrouille passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013 at the Bolan Hall Veterans Home in Union Grove. Jerry was born on September 13, 1919, son of the late Irvin and Marie (nee: Rasmussen) Ingrouille.

Jerry proudly served in WWII as a Combat Infantryman in the Rhineland Campaign and was awarded the Purple Heart in 1945. In 2011 he took the Honors Flight to Washington, D.C. He enjoyed playing in several Senior Golf and Bowling leagues; dancing to Big Band music; and traveling.

Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Ingrouille and Nancy (Dave) Westman; three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley (Bud) Mandernack; brother, Ed (Joanne) Ingrouille; and sister-in-law, Betty Ingrouille; step-children Connie (John) Boticki, Cindy (Butch) Noehl, Dorothy Steiner and their families; as well as many nieces and nephews. Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Amelia in 1980; and by his wife, Dorothy in 2003; his brother Bob Ingrouille, and step-son Dale Steiner.

Services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2013. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery Kenosha. Visitation in the funeral home will begin at 10:00 a.m.
