Gerardo Emilio Flores, 59, received the promise of eternal life on Friday, November 13, 2020.  He was born in Tlacolula de Matamoros, Oaxaca, Mexico, on September 24, 1961.

He was united in marriage to the love of his life, the former Francisca Lopez, on March 19, 1980.

Gerardo worked for Maple Leaf Farms for 29 years.  In his spare time, he loved spending time with his entire family and pets.  Gerardo loved his two Conure Parrots, Skye and Buddy, as well as his eight dogs.

Gerardo leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of over 40 years, Francisca Flores; daughter, Nancy Flores; son, Emilio Flores; sister, Lilia Flores; and brother, Luis Flores, all of his loving pets; as well as extended family and friends.  Gerardo is preceded in death by his mother, Enriqueta Lopez De Flores.

A celebration of Gerardo's life will be held on Monday, November 23, 2020, 11:00am, at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory, 4600 County Line Road.  Visitation will be from 10:00am until the time of the service.  Burial will follow at Mound Cemetery.
