Racine – Gloria Ann Ashmus, 78, passed away at Ridgewood Care Center on Tuesday, January 12, 2016. She was born in Racine on August 16, 1937, the daughter of the late Frank and Beulah (nee: Weber) Elgines.  Gloria was a graduate of St. Catherine's High School.

Gloria is survived by her children, William (Kim) Ashmus,  Richard (Cyndi) Ashmus,  James (Beth) Ashmus, and Kimberly Christman; grandchildren, Heather, Denise, Annie, Casey, Daniel, and Thomas Ashmus; her brother, Robert (Dee) Elgines;  her sister, Deanna (Robert) Jensen;  as well as many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Gloria will be held in the funeral home at 1 p.m. on Monday January 18, 2016 with Rev. Mark Jones officiating. Visitation in the funeral home will begin at 11 a.m.
