~~Racine- Mr. Glover Kidd Jr. was born on September 15, 1944 to the union of the late Glover and Ollie Mae (nee: Davis) Kidd Sr. in Stonewall, MS.  Mr. Kidd moved to Wisconsin in the early 1960s. Mr. Kidd accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age at Little Zion Methodist church in Stonewall, MS and was united with Searching Together M.B.C. in 1995 where he was a member of the Male Chorus. Mr. Kidd was employed by Racine Steel Castings for 35 years, retiring in 1998. In his leisure time, he enjoyed singing, being in the company of family/friends and watching sports.  He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Green Bay Packer Fan. Mr. Kidd departed this life on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at the age of 71.  He was preceded in death by parents, and several of his brothers and sisters; Howard Eugene Kidd, Karrie Mae Kidd, Annie Reynolds, Claudia Kidd, Willie J. Kidd and Willup Kidd. He leaves to cherish his memory, children, Debbie Kidd, Kovac Kidd, Kimberly Kidd, Kelly Mae Kidd, Tony Jones, Eric Martin, and Vicki Cummings;  brothers, Melvin (Lillie) Kidd, Philip (Delestine) Kidd, Danny (Ruby) Kidd, John (Betty) Kidd; ex- wife, Irene D. Cummings; his significant other, Barbara J. Martin and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A celebration of Glover's life will be held at 11:00am on Friday, March 4th at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home, 4600 County Line Rd.  The visitation will take place at the funeral home from 10:00am until the time of service.  Burial will take place at Graceland Cemetery.
