Gordon James Coopman Jr, age 57, of Mount Pleasant, passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 27, 2026. He was born on November 27, 1968, in Kenosha to Gordon Coopman Sr and Patricia Jones.

Gordy will be remembered for his deep love for his family, his hard work ethic, he traveled the world building, repairing or taking down Nuclear Power Plants for Westinghouse and PCI. He had a very bright mind on building different things or remodeling just about anything.

Gordy loved his "other half" of 16 yrs, Amy Clark, and she returned that love. He is survived by his 2 sons, Gordon Coopman lll and Nathaniel Coopman; his mother, Patricia Jones; his favorite (and only) brother, Jeff (Cheryl) Coopman; sisters, Linda (Joe) Heim, Sandy (Rick) Roberts; numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.

He will be dearly missed and never forgotten.
