Gregory A. Koleske

Service Details

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Lucy Catholic Church, 3101 Drexel Avenue, on Friday, October 11, 2024 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be in the church on Friday, October 11th, from 10:00 – 11:00 am. Private interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32.

Racine – Gregory A. Koleske, age 61, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. 

 

Greg was born in Racine on December 8, 1962 to the late John and Roberta (nee: Galipeau) Koleske. He graduated from Saint Catherine’s High School. Greg had worked for several places during his career – including Ascension All Saints and MJ Foods.

 

Among his interests, Greg enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, yardwork, woodworking, had quite the sports card collection and always willing to lend a hand to someone in need.

 

Surviving are his children, Shaun Koleske, Britney (Edgar) Flores and Adam Koleske; grandchildren, Jayden, Xander, Cayson & Alivia Rutherford; and Adriana Flores; brothers, John (Phyllis) Koleske, Neal (Lisa) Koleske and Chris Koleske; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Greg was preceded in death by an infant brother, Steven Koleske.

    My sincere condolences to the family. I was fortunate to meet Greg at St. Lucy and then work with him at Wheaton. I have many fond memories and so many laughs. Such a kind gentleman who would do anything to help someone out. Rest in peace, Greg.
