Gregory Howell, 68, completed his earthly pilgrimage on Tuesday, May 18, 2021. He was born in New Albany, MS on July 3, 1952 the son of Athel and Annie Ruth (nee: Sanders) Howell. Gregory and his family moved to Racine when he was a young child. He attended school here in Racine and graduated from J. I. Case High School. Gregory had been employed by the Racine Department of Public Works. Later, he worked for the GCA Corporation. Gregory was a member of St. Luke's Missionary Baptist Church. He loved to shop and walked all over town. Gregory enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving are his mother, Annie Ruth Howell; brothers and sisters, James (Carolyn) Howell, Debra (Dave) Baker, Sindy (Payton) Stewart, and Arthel "Art" (April) Howell. Gregory is also survived by his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Gregory was met in Heaven by his father, brother, grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Service Details

Gregory Howell, 68, completed his earthly pilgrimage on Tuesday, May 18, 2021. A private family service will be held at Graceland Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staffs of McMynn Tower and the Hospitality Center for the time and care they showed Gregory.
