Grover "Sam" Darden, 57, passed away, unexpectedly, on Wednesday, September 17, 2014. Sam was born in Vance, MS on July 21, 1957 the son of the late Grover and Fannie Mae (nee: Eastwood) Darden. Sam was a talented landscaper and worked for several well- known landscapers in the area.

He is survived by his brother, Monroe Darden; sister, Annie McClinton, both of Kenosha; and loving companion of 23 years, Deloris Davison, of Racine. Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive him. In addition to his parents, Sam was preceded in death by his sisters, Lula Mae Darden and Fannie Mae Darden.

His Homegoing service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, September 24th at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends can meet with the family on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
