It's with great sorrow that we announce that Harris "Murdahvell" Nelson Jr. passed away on January 27 ^th , 2026 at Ascension All Saints Racine.

Harris was born July 5th, 1984 in Chicago, Illinois to Michelle Nelson and Melvin Jackson. Harris always had a deep deep love of music. Being a long time member of the Foundation Music Group (FMG) record label and later went on to own his own production company FMG KNATION RECORDS. Harris could always be found in the studio either recording,writing, producing a song, or making a beat.

Harris is survived by brother, Melvin Nelson; sisters, Renee Nelson and Tricia Martin.; sons, Harris Jorden Nelson Jr. and EON Kannen Brown; daughter, E'Terniti Shirley Anne Brown; neices and nephews, Danielle Nelson, Lyasia Nelson, Chanayah , Na'Tavia Sims, Michelle Nelson, Tramaine Taylor, Melvin Nelson, Jeremy Nelson, Daequan Scott, Mario Sims,Marqaun Nelson, Brianah Gulledge,Telly Howell, Kenyodda and Victoria Martin, Perseus Wilson, Levi Gulledge, Olivia Gulledge, Takai Taylor and Mae Felton; many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins….as well as several friends.

He was greeted at the Heavenly gates by his is sisters,Toni Gulledge and Mae Taylor; and his father, Melvin Jackson; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and close family friends.
