Helen A. Henderleiter, age 90, of Kenosha, passed away on the beautiful morning of October 23, 2013. She was in the arms of her children and grandchildren, surrounded by her family.
She married Gerald Henderleiter in 1940, and together the two of them raised 9 children. They loved dancing, photography, nature and celebrating good times with their families. Helen loved bowling, crosswords, sewing, cooking for the people she loved and enjoying good books. She taught her family the value of strength, kindness, gentleness and tenacity.
All of us love her more than we could ever say. No amount of words, nor any amount of silence, could ever express the deepness of our love for her.
She is survived by her children, Jerry (Jackie) Henderleiter, Marianne Brickley, Jane Frome, Tim (Cathy) Henderleiter, Ruth (James) Zuhlke, Beth (Alden) Eddy, Lisa (Steve) Feigleson and Mark (Rochelle Rada) Henderleiter; grandchildren, Julie, David, Steven, Peter, Anne, Michael, Douglas, Heather, Tim, Rachel, Katrina, Rachel, Thomas, Andrew, Josiah, Tony and Matthew; great- grandchildren, Luke, Maeve, Liam, Elizabeth, Emma, Hazel, Phoebe, Christopher and Katie. She is also survived by her very best friend, Donna; and her brother, Henry (Hank) Bierdz. The beloved lost before her include Helen's husband, Jerry; son, Thomas; son-in-law, Kevin Kalcic; dear sister, Mary Iverson; brothers, Edward and Peter Bierdz; sister, Estelle Andresen; and parents, Pauline and Walter Bierdz.
Her family celebrated her life at a private ceremony. Please send any condolences to Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home.
