Racine – Helen (nee: Rosienski) Karwowski, age 87, passed away peacefully at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center on Wednesday, December 19, 2012.
Helen was born in Racine on December 29, 1924 to the late Michael and Josephine (nee: Krusienski) Rosienski. On July 14, 1945 in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, she was united in marriage with the love of her life, Stephen A. Karwowski, who preceded her in death on March 12, 2004.
Years ago, Helen began her career in the office of Saveway Lumber. Eventually, she went to be employed as a bookkeeper at Webster Electric, from where she retired after 23 years of service. Helen was a faithful member of St. Mary by the Lake Catholic Church. She was extremely talented in the art of crafts – especially in creating tissue box covers, refrigerator magnets and Christmas ornaments…in which she sold at local art fairs. Above all, Aunt Helen loved and cherished being in the surroundings of her entire family.
