Ilona Reutter, 48, died unexpectedly at her residence on Wednesday, January 3, 2007. She was born in Stuttgart, Germany, on February 27, 1958. Surviving are her children, Derek Neuman of Racine, Leah (David) Krawchuk of Kenosha, her granddaughter Jaslinn Bassinger, her mother and stepfather Valerie and James Drozdowski of Racine, her father Gerhard Reutter in Germany, brother Gerald (Gabriela) Reutter, her nephews and niece Heiko, Kai, Simon, and Neka, aunts Gerda Brocker and Margareta Spencer, cousin Diana (Brett) Gename of Somers, and by her former husbands Jeff Bassinger and Mark Neuman. She was preceded in death by her son Jason Bassinger and brother Jurgen Reutter. Her funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, January 8th, at 12 o'clock noon. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Cremation will follow.
