He was born in Racine on November 1, 1965, to the late Irish Day, Jr. and Nina (nee Earl, Day) Williams.  He graduated from JI Case High School in 1984 and attended Ivy Tech in Kokomo, IN.  Irish married the love of his life, Shonna Greene, in 1988.

Irish loved to collect old cars, especially Ford Mustangs.  He was also a man of faith and joined Deliverance Crusaders Church under the leadership of Apostle Howard and Bonnie Fleming.  In addition to his loving wife, Shonna Day, he survived by the seven children he raised, Narkiesha (Thomas) Terry, Tavaris Greene, Dionna Patton, Jonathan Mosley, Jr., Terell Barber, Jamiesha Durr, Donte Brown; a host of grandchildren, and one great grandson; his brothers and sister, Randall Smith, Kenny (Michelle) Day, Billy Williams, Angel (David) Meeks; his step-mother, Mary Day; his aunt (whom he thought of as a sister), Carolyn Day and Jammie McFarland; his uncle, Edward Day; his brothers-in-law, Richard (Marva) Greene and Jeff (Wendy) Greene; as well as many nieces and nephews.   In addition to his mother and father, Irish was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willie and Catherine Earl, and Irish and Jimmie Lee Day, Sr.; his uncle, Bobby Day; his aunt, Aretha Earl; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Johnny and Janie Ruth Greene; and his sister-in-law, Tiffany Greene.

Testimonials

Joan St. Martin

We would like to personally thank Brian for what a warm, compassionate funeral you arranged. You always put our thoughts first and answered and responded to my many phone calls about everything. The artistry of the belongings of our son was amazing. Everything was so beautiful. So many people complimented on how the arrangement was set up by you. We as a family will never forget what you did for us in our time of need. Thank you very much Brian.
