IvaDell Ager, 93, passed away at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha on Wednesday, August 25, 2021.  She was born in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, on May 18, 1928, daughter of the late Alphonse and June (née: Beaulieu) LaRose.

IvaDell was united in marriage to the love of her life, Kenneth Eugene Ager, on January 29, 1949.  Kenneth preceded her in death on October 7, 1985.

IvaDell worked for numerous factories in the area over the years including Jacobsen and Hamilton-Beach.  She was an inventive and creative person who enjoyed woodworking and sewing.  She had a feisty spirit which aided in her longevity.

IvaDell leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Mardell (Rob) Fisher; grandchildren, Nicholas (Cassandra) Fisher, and Samantha Fisher; great-grandchild, Ellison Fisher; sons-in-law, Charles Wahl and Jess Holbrook; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends too numerous to mention.

In addition to her parents and husband, IvaDell was preceded in death by her son, William Ager; daughters, Melonie Wahl and Marlene Holbrook; sisters, Theresa Pooler, Lillian Braden, Florence Steffen, and Flora Klinkhammer; and brother, Norman LaRose.

A celebration of IvaDell’s life will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021, 11:00am, at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory, 4600 County Line Road.  Visitation will be from 10:00am until the time of the service.  Private burial for the family only will follow at Rochester Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a heart-felt “Thank You” to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Aurora Medical Center and Clinics, especially Dr. Prakash Shah, for the love and care given to IvaDell over the years.

Testimonials

Sincere Gratitude

I can’t express my gratitude enough to Mike and the Draeger-Langendorf staff for such great service provided to us, as we made arrangements to lay our brother to rest. You all went above and beyond to make sure we understood every detail there was to know, from the greatest to the smallest. When we walked out of your office, we walked out with peace, knowing that our brother was in good hands. Thank you Mike for adding that special touch to my brother’s service, that’s the kind of stuff that separates you all from the rest. Once again Thank you so much.
