Ivan D. Robinson, 70, of Mount Pleasant, completed his earthly tour of duty on Saturday, March 8, 2025. Ivan was born on September 6, 1954, the son of Tarzan Honor and Beulah Robinson. After graduating from high school, Ivan enlisted in the United States Marines Corps, where he proudly served for over 32 years. During his career, he was stationed throughout the world, keeping our country safe and free. On May 22, 2000, he was united in marriage to Rewanda Pleasant. She preceded him in death on August 31, 2018. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, and loved riding his Harley. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, six children, Elder John (Jeanette) Bernard, of Compton, CA, Monique Bernard, of San Diego, CA, Shonette Lavergne, of Dallas, TX, Miranda (Kerrington) Youmans of Atlanta, GA, Mitzi (Norman) Sauceda of Oceanside, CA, and Belond Matthews, of Ferriday, LA ; grandchildren, L.J., Nadera, Kitali, Fallon, Senai, Maasai, Alana, Favian, Ezekiel, & Great grandchild Everly; mother, Beulah Robinson, of Racine; three sisters, Malerie "Gidget"(Larry) Sanders, of Milwaukee, Andalinque Robinson, and Carla Robinson, both of Racine; his long time companion, Barbara Peterson, of Racine; his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive him. Ivan was preceded in death by his father, Tarzan Honor.

Service Details

His Homegoing Service, with full military honors, will be held in the funeral home on March 28 ^th , at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial, will be at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, at 2:00 p.m.
