
JACKSON HIGH Racine- Mr. Jackson High, 71, was called Home by his Savior on Monday, February 13, 2006. He was born in New Albany, MS on April 2, 1928, the son of the late John and Zettie Mae (nee: Cullen) High. Jack moved to Racine at age 17. Jack was united in marriage to Winoner “Juanita” Lee on December 24, 1965. He worked at Racine Steel Castings until his failing health forced him to retire. As Jack faithfully received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age, he was a longtime member of the Second Missionary Baptist Church. His hobbies included fishing, watching sports and relaxing in front of the television. Surviving are his loving wife, Juanita; son, Jesse Irvin; daughters, Donna Broom and Jessica (Ted) Williams; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers, John Wesley High and George Fred High; sisters, Mae Dora Kimmons and Alma Jean High; brothers-in-law, Frank Cannon Sr. and Henry (Renee) Lee; sisters-in-law, Kaylee Lee ands Ethel Mae Lee; and a host of other dear relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his son, Lawrence High; brother, Joe High; and sister, Juanita Cannon. Homegoing services for Jack are will take place on Saturday, February 18, 2006 at Second Missionary Baptist Church, 1250 Lathrop Ave., at 10:00 am with Rev. Daryn D. Crenshaw officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Viewing will be at the church on Saturday from 8:30 – 10 am.
