Memphis – James M. Cotton, 88, formerly of Racine, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, October 12, 2011, in Memphis, TN.

James was born in McComb, MS, son of the late John and Lulu (nee: King) Cotton.

James faithfully served his country with the United States Navy.  He then came to Racine in the early 1950's.

A Homegoing service will take place on Saturday, October 22, 11am, at Searching Together Baptist Church, 825 21 ^st Street, with Rev. Willie Riley officiating.  Interment with Full Military Honors will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.  Visitation will be in the church on Saturday from 10am until the time of the service.
