Racine – James A. Dzurick, 59, passed away at St. Mary's Medical Center on Sunday, October 22, 2006. He was born in Racine on December 6, 1946, the son of George and Evelyn (nee: Shepherd) Dzurick. Jim was a quiet man of strong character. He was a good husband, father, son and adoring grandfather. He enjoyed woodworking, and made several elaborate dollhouses for his granddaughter and other loved ones. He often enjoyed hunting, snow-mobiling, and valued the time he spent with his family in Crivitz on Big Newton Lake. He recently retired from Eckmann Pressed Metals, where he had worked for more than 25 years. He is survived by his wife, Lynn Dzurick; son, Scott (Nataly) Davis of Arlington, Texas; daughter, Michelle (Matthew) Bosanec of Racine; 4 grandchildren, Tyler and Tory Davis, Samantha and Madison Bosanec; his mother, Evelyn Dzurick; brothers and sister, Dave (Rita) Dzurick of Tucson, Arizona, Don (Karen) Dzurick of Sturtevant, Carol (Gilman) Aude of Racine, and Joe Dzurick of Del Ray Beach, Florida. He is further survived by his special uncle and aunt, Rodney Boville, and Darlene Perry; mother-in-law, Valery Roedema; and brother-in-law, Bryan (Katrina) Roedema; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, George F. Dzurick, and father-in-law Clarence Roedema, Jr. Complete funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, October 25, 2006. Visitation will be from 4 – 5:30 p.m., immediately followed by the funeral service with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating. Visitation will continue after the service until 7 p.m. Memorials to the family have been kindly suggested.
