Jane R. Pfeilstifter, 80, passed away at All Saints Hospital on Thursday, August 14, 2014. She was born on August 18, 1933, daughter of the late Charles and Clara (nee: Brandes) Green. She was a lifetime Racine resident. Jane was married in Holy Name Catholic Church on April 4, 1952 to David Pfeilstifter.

Jane worked as a receptionist at the Eye Clinic of Racine until her retirement. Jane always enjoyed spending time with her children and extended family. She was an active and faithful member of St. Lucy Catholic Church for many years. Jane is survived by her husband, David Pfeilstifter of Racine; her children, Marion Janca of Racine, and Dennis Pfeilstifter of Union Grove; her brother, Warren (Pat) Green of Racine; as well as other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Marion Green; and son-in-law, Dennis Janca.

A funeral mass for Jane will be held at St. Lucy Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.  Visitation will be in the church beginning at 10:00 a.m. Memorials to St. Lucy Catholic Church, or your favorite charity have been suggested.
